What's the Story?

Rick Hill is looking to make an impact! Originally tutoring in the community over 20 years ago in Central New York with the help of a few tutors he employed, Hill wishes to bring back this tutoring service in a more modernized way. The goal is to help students realize their full mathematical skillset.

Hill's program features both solo and group sessions, each last 1 hour. The complete program includes one semester's worth of sessions with summer options available. Set up a meeting place (home, library, any public space), bring yourself and your homework, and get ready to learn!

“Aiden was completely frustrated with math.  He hated the homework and did not like to talk about it.  We were introduced to MTA through a friend.  After a few weeks with MTA, Aiden’s attitude toward school was changed.  He is particularly engaged in his math.  MTA has been a god-send for Aiden and for me.”

-Danielle K.

“As a college graduate, I was sure I could help Kevin with his math.  If I could not help him, no one could.  When I tried to help my son, we argued more than anything.  I was not sure how effective MTA could be.  The MTA approach was explained to me and it made perfect sense.  The first thing they did was to help Kevin relax by building his self-confidence.  Once this happened, Kevin’s grades immediately improved.  Thanks MTA.”

-Paul O.

"My daughter is a two-sport athlete.  When she was in high school, we regularly received letters and calls about college.  Our concern was not the athletic competition but the academic competition.  The SAT presented a problem for us.  MTA helped us achieve the score required for entrance into a Power-5 school.  MTA?? Strongly recommended."

-J.J. M.

“I’m not sure how they do but MTA is amazing.”

-Ricardo D.

“After working 18 years for a local manufacturer, I found myself in school looking to change careers.  The math I need for my degree was like nothing I had ever seen.  The algebra gave me fits.  I called MTA and found the help I needed.  I am well on my way to earning a B.S. degree in Computer Science.”

-Bethany H.

“I have a third-grader, a fourth-grader and an eighth-grader.  As a single parent, it was difficult for me to help my children with their homework.  I was able to work out a schedule with MTA that allowed me to get the help my children needed.  TY MTA.”
